Country Comes to the City

The cutoff date has been extended a few weeks for anyone who is interested in going

The president is a horsey gal and when the Royal comes to town it's an exciting time for her. The biggest names in showjumping come to compete for large prizes and international prestige. The indoor arena has a much more intimate feel, you'll get a sense of the power and height and speed as horse and rider navigate world class level jumps, turns and obstacles. Even if you have no idea how this all works, it's still exciting and lucky for you, you'll have a guide that can tell you what's going on - both in the ring and perhaps the gossip behind the scenes!

But that's not all - the Royal showcases more than just thoroughbreds, warmbloods and hanovarians (ahem, horses...). There's pigs and ducks and goats and cows and cows and more cows...there's butter sculptures and gigantic pumpkins and cheese awards and marketplaces. And it's kid friendly, too.

We'll buy the tickets in advance for the horse show which includes admission to the fair, but if you just want to meet us for the fair and not do the show, you can just meet us and buy your tickets at the door. There are usually seats available on the day of the show, however it will be cheaper to buy in advance, and it is reserved seating, so if you decide to go to the show, you will not sit with the group..

Show Schedule for November 11th (7pm):
Hackney Horse Championship- Open Marsh
