Itinerary:

CARDIO BOOTCAMP - part of an ongoing series of mid-week urban fitness and cardio hikes to improve your flexibility and fitness.

Good cardio fitness, overall flexibility and strength improves your health and makes hiking, backpacking and outdoor adventure more safe and enjoyable

NOTE: This is a D4 Event - NOT suitable for beginners(first-time walkers or hikers)

Starting off with some full body stretching, followed by a cardio/bootcamp drill session - punches, squats, lunges, jumps, etc - we'll then head down the trails and work our way up, down and around the trails.

In the span of 2 hours, we will complete a cardio circuit incorporating flat road walk, 3 ski hills, 3 hilly ridges and up and down some stairs 5 times, followed by a break of sit ups and push ups before finishing off with another series of hill climbs.

As is customary, we'll head to a nearby venue for coffee after the event.

So come on by and have a great time! - the pace will be fast and we will work every muscle group

This is excellent conditioning for endurance and elevation training on hiking trips, winter walking, snowshoeing and x-country sking, etc

This event goes ahead rain or shine - although the sequence, length and difficulty of the exercises will vary depending on weather conditions.
