Itinerary:
The weather this past weekend had me worried that, in the words of Alfred Lord Tennyson (correction, thanks to member Bev G: it wasn't Tennyson, but TS Eliot. D'oh!!!), summer was going to end "not with a bang, but a whimper." But hurray! the forecast is for more hot, summer weather. Time to squeeze in some much-needed beach time, create some vitamin D for the long winter months ahead, and take in the wonder of a summer night sky, all in one day!

We'll head to Sandbanks Provincial Park, which seems far nicer and more natural than beaches that are nearer ... with long sandy beaches and hopefully warm water (thanks to the sandbanks)! We'll bring food and bevvies to last us throughout the day, and stick around through the sunset and take in an hour or so of stargazing before the park closes at 10:00PM. The intent is to have a long, relaxing day at the beach, maximizing our enjoyment of the day and location.

Please, please, PLEASE do not sign up for this event if you have to be back in Toronto in the evening, or if you bore easily.

Now yes, this event is on a Monday (and not a holiday one either). BUT if you have some vacation time to take, or have "flexible" employment, this event is for you! :-> (I'm trying not to be a bad influence here, despite the title of this event! ;-> )
