We will be following the old Belt Line

The hike is about 16 km overall and we will aim to hike at 3.5-4km/h.

We will follow this path:

  1. Depart from Rosedale Subway Station
  2. Cross Yonge into Ramsden Park over to Avenue Road.
  3. Walk North to the traffic lights and cross Avenue Road at Dupont.
  4. Go under the CN rail bridge
  5. Turn left at first street (MacPherson Ave) to Poplar Plains Rd.
  6. Follow raod to the Russel Hill Reservation, which turns into Winston Churchill Park.
  7. Follow path to St. Claire Ave W. and cross the street to hook up with Tweeddsmuir Rd.
  8. Turn into the Ceadarvale Park Ravine and follow to Eglinton West Station.
  9. From Eglinton West, follow the Belt Line
  10. Pass beside the Mount Pleasant Cemetery
  11. Follow the Moore Ravine south to the brickworks
  12. 45 Min Break at farmers' market
  13. Follow the Vale of Avoca ravine north
  14. Arrive at St. Clair Subway Station / Summerhill or Rosedale Station.

We will stop at the new brickworks farmers market for 20-30 minutes and check out what the vendors have to offer. After our shopping is complete, we will continue to follow the ravine back up towards St. Clair / Summerhill / Rosedale Station. (YOUR CHOICE)
