Earl Bales to York Cemetery and Back (8/18/2010)

Itinerary:

This week, we are going to take a break from just doing the traditional hikes, up and down the ski hills.

Instead, the group will leave the ski parking lot, travel along the top of the grade and will travel down to the Sheppard bridge.

Upon going under the bridge, the group will travel to Burnett Park. We will then loop around the back of the York cemetery, before trekking into Bathurst Park.

We will then head back to our starting point, where we conclude the hike with a single trip up Julian's hill to end the day.

The trip will total approximately 4 km and should take roughly 1.5 hours.

Earl Bales Park located at 4169 Bathurst Street, one light south of Sheppard Avenue West. 4 Lights north of Wilson Ave. Once entering the park, take a right at the first fork in the road. Meet the group near the top of the ski hill in the park

From Wilson Station - Bathurst 160 Bus.

Sheppard Station - Sheppard 84 Bus.

Bathurst Station - Bathurst 7C Bus.

Notes:

Unlike the traditional urban hikes, we will not be doing multiple loops. Once the hike begins, we will not wait for you. Please come to the event at the appropriate time.
