Itinerary:

We will be following the old Belt Line

There is no major difficulty in the terrain, just a couple of hills, but we will be hiking in a easy pace.

The hike is about 10 km overall and we will aim to hike at 3.5-4km/h.

We will follow this path:

  1. Depart from Eglinton West Station
  2. Follow the Belt Line
  3. Pass beside the Mount Pleasant Cemetery
  4. Follow the Moore Ravine south to the brickworks
  5. Follow the Vale of Avoca ravine north
  6. Arrive to St. Clair Subway Station
This hike will be 10.2km, We will follow the Belt Line and Central Ravines Discovery Walk

6 or 7km into the route, we will stop at the new brickworks farmers market for 20-30 minutes and check out what the vendors have to offer. After our shopping is complete, we will continue to follow the ravine back up to St. Clair Station.

  • Good footwear
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Bag for farmers market items
  • Little bit of money for the farmers market

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Eglinton West Subway Station is located at Eglinton West and Allan Road. Look for me at the entrance of the station.
