Itinerary:
This urban hike will explore an area of Markham that few people get to see. We will travel along a wild stream, smell the summer flowers and see little bunnies go about their little bunny business. I expect us to cover about 9km. The terrain varies from concrete sidewalks, to gravel trails, to rough and muddy single track. You must wear hiking shoes or boots. Pants are strongly recommended to protect against tall vegetation.

Required Items to Bring:
Hiking footwear, water.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Long pants, camera

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

By Car: see map.

By Transit: Take TTC to Finch subway. Then either
1) Take York Region Transit bus 91 or 2 all the way to Bayview & John, or
2) Take TTC Bus 53 to Bayview & Steeles and walk about 1.7km north on Bayview.
