Itinerary:

As ambitious as she is charismatic, Eva Duarte rises from poverty in rural Argentina to become first the mistress and then the wildly popular wife of President Juan Perón. Blending the personal with the political, this landmark of the modern musical theatre paints a dazzling portrait of a woman who helped shape history.

Exuberant Latin, rock and jazz rhythms pulse through the score of a show that took the world by storm, winning Tony, Drama Desk and Olivier Awards for best musical.

We'll drive to Stratford and have a potluck lunch by the river (weather permitting), then attend the matinee performance at the Avon Theatre. Afterwards, we'll find a cafe to have a glass of wine or a coffee, before heading back to Toronto.

It is preferred that all participants meet at the carpool so that we can easily coordinate finding parking and a lunch spot.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $69.66 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Friday, May 3, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

Please note: The tickets were a little more expensive than I anticipated because HST applies since the show is after the July 1 kick in date, and there are no group discounts for performances in July or August. I will collect $7 from each person when we do the carpool on the day.


- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
