Itinerary:

We'll pick up the Bruce Trail on Prince of Wales Rd and head north toward the Noisy River Nature Reserve (BTC Map Ref: 21). The distance covered will be approximately 16 km. Much of this hike will be typical Bruce Trail, up and down under trees, a short amount of road walking. We'll pick a suitable spot somewhere near Black Bank Hill to stop for lunch.

Note that this hike will be at an average pace of around 4kph - sometimes faster, sometimes slower. It will also involve an end-to-end car shuttle so there can be no drop-outs. Bring an extra jacket or sweater to wear at the end of the day while the drivers retrieve the cars.

With this year's crazy weather, the ground could be either dry as a bone or ankle deep in mud - we'll assume the worst, so footwear with good ankle support is required; anyone showing up at the carpool without proper footwear will be sent home.

After the hike, we'll head to The Old Mill House in Creemore (home of Creemore Springs Brewery) for a drink and a bite to eat.
