Itinerary:

We'll pick up the Bruce Trail just north of the Nottawasaga Bluffs and head north through Devil's Glen toward Pretty River (BTC Map Ref: 22/23). The distance covered will be approximately 15 km. Much of this hike will be typical Bruce Trail, up and down under trees, a short amount of road walking.

Note that this hike will be at an average pace of around 4.5kph - a bit slower on the up-slopes, faster on the down-slopes when we have a tail wind. It will also involve an end-to-end car shuttle so there can be no drop-outs. Bring an extra jacket or sweater to wear at the end of the day while the drivers retrieve the cars.

Hiking boots or shoes with good support are required; anyone showing up at the carpool without proper footwear will be sent home.

After the hike, we'll go back to my place for a BBQ. I'll cook burgers for the carnivores, so if you are a vegetarian, please indicate in the Notes when you sign what you prefer to eat!

For those of you who regularly come on my hikes, please note the Downsview departure, not Kipling!
