Longboat Toronto Island 10km (9/19/2010)

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the TOC.

You are STRONGLY encouraged to read this page in its entirety before signing up. If you'd like to attend, we ask that you abide by our rules and procedures as a time/cost saving process (with an end result of keeping membership free and lower cost events).

Itinerary:
I am registered for this year's edition of the Longboat Toronto Island 10km running race, and welcome anyone looking for a challenge. (A big lunch is included.)

The race itself is put on by the Longboat Runners, an established Toronto area club. It is flat, fast, and very scenic with a mix of grass, boardwalk, and pavement. There is also a 5km race and a free 1k kids fun run.

Included in the registration is a free T-shirt and post race picnic. The $6.50 ferry ticket is not included. After the race, we can go for a swim on the beach, play some disc golf, drown our sorrows, or do something else.

Required Items to Bring:
A healthy heart.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Centre Island ferry from the foot of Bay St. Cross the bridge to meet at the large fountain, and you will see the setup on your right.

Ferries run at 8:00., 9:00, 9:30, and 10:00a.m.
