Downhill Skiing / Snowboarding at Mt St Louis-Moonstone (2/20/2010)

Itinerary:

We'll meet at the carpool or at the resort (optional)! Erik always stops at the McDonald's just north of Mapleview Drive in Barrie (breakfast and bathroom stop). Check out the resort's web-site for more details: Click Here You can rent equipment or bring your own. Lift tickets on-site are $48 (plus applicable taxes). Full day rentals (Skis, Boots & Poles) are around $32, Snowboard rentals are more expensive at about $37. The cost of ski or snowboard lessons varies quite a bit depending on how many people are coming, but count on at least $25-30.
Don't forget to bring a few dollars for lunch and to cover carpool expenses.

appropriate winter clothing (hat, gloves, windproof/waterproof jacket & pants - no jeans)
lunch, or $ for lunch (snack bar on premises)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Hwy. 400 north, towards Barrie. At the 400/11 split continue to follow Hwy 400 North to Parry Sound/ Sudbury (26 km) until you reach exit 131 (Mount St. Louis Road). When you see the exit, stay to the right and go under the bridge. At the stop sign turn right to go over the bridge. You will see Mount St. Louis Moonstone to the right.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $61.92 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Thursday, May 2, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.
