Horseshoe Resort has 35km of groomed trails that are great for skiers of all levels, both in classic and skate skiing. Let come out and enjoy these wonderful Nordic trails. For more info visit their website http://www.horseshoeresort.com/112p_nordic-skiing.htm

Horseshoe Resort has a heated chalet, but it has closed its cafeteria and just has vending machines. It is recommended to bring your lunch and or snacks!

We will be taking leaving Toronto at 10:45 so that we can take advantage of the half day rate (4 hours). We can ski on groups based on ski levels, or participant can ski independently if desired. Horseshoe has tree sets of trails: North Trails, West Trails, and South Trails (http://www.horseshoeresort.com/content/file/Cross%20Country%20Map%2014-08.pdf). The latter are the more difficult ones, and I personally will stay away from them, but more advance skiers are welcome to ski at their own level.

WHEN YOU SIGN UP PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you do not take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks?
For everyone...
2. If you are taking your skis, how long are they? – Please estimate if you are unsure.

If this your first trip of 2010, please print a waiver, bring it with you, and fill it out in front of a volunteer organizer as a witness. See link below. http://www.torontooutdoorclub.com/member/Waiver_of_Liability___Membership.pdf

We will be leaving Horseshoe by 5 pm and be back at Downsview by 6:30pm.
