Let's go skiing again!!!

Hardwood has great trails and enough of snow for us.

Hardwood also offers night skiing from 5 to 8pm for no extra charge. We may do this depending on what the group wants. And so bring your head lamps if you want to try it.

We will ski in small groups according to your level and pace. There is a chalet with food and drinks, though it only serves basic food. Therefore, you might want to bring your own lunch. I am not organizing group rates - it is just too much work. Therefore, a day trail pass costs $21.50, and a package including a pass and equipment rental costs about $50.00

I will offer a basic, informal ski lessons.

If participants would like, we can go to dinner in town afterward.

For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you don’t take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks? Important for people with long skis.
For everyone...
2. Are you taking skis up with you? Or will you rent them?
3. If you are taking your skis, how long are they? – Please estimate if you are unsure.
4. Are you interested in a bit of night skiing?
5. Are you interested in dinner after we finish skiing?
6. Would you like some basic, informal ski lessons from me?
7. If you are a good skier, would you be willing to help me out with the teaching? Even if you think you can’t teach people to ski you can demonstrate proper technique.

We will leave Hardwood hills by 5 pm. and be back at Downsview by 7:00pm if we do not go night skiing. It will be later if we do.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $55.73 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Saturday, May 4, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.
