Itinerary:
The elusive Half-Marathon. 21.1 km. This weekend there won’t be any road closures, no water stations, no crowds cheering us on. But… it won’t cost us upwards and over $50 to walk the route, either!

Sunday is shaping up to be a nice day, so let’s get out and discover the route that thousands of others ran and walked a few weeks ago in the Toronto Marathon. Our goal will be to complete the route in approx. 4 hours. So no lunch break! (True to form, this is a half-marathon, after all!) But we will be passing by a few Timmy’s and can incorporate some quick stops along the way, to grab a juice or take a bathroom break.

Stuff you need to know:
  • We will need to keep pace at 5.5 – 6 km per hour.
  • Drop outs allowed, since we’ll be in the city, you can find your own way home.
  • We’ll find some place for a bite to eat after for those who are interested.
  • Start is Mel Lastman Square (I will email exact meet location)
  • End is northern end of Queen’s Park.
  • Click here to see map.
