Itinerary:

At this time of year, there should be plenty of subject matter for photos. The gardens should be in full summer colours, with Spicer Court, Mediterranean plants, indoor tropical plants, orchids, cacti and succulents, Royal Court (planters) all available.

We'll start at the Rose Garden and spend some time photographing the flowers, and surrounds. We'll then use the free shuttle-bus to move on to the Laking Garden to check out the Peony and Daylily collections, and the Rock Garden in the Quarry, and give everyone a chance to take pictures there. If we have time and are still inclined, we'll go to the Arboretum, and follow some of the trails around Coote's Paradise.

We will bring a laptop and will try to find somewhere to plug it in and check out some of the images at the end of the afternoon.

Please note that the focus of this event will be on photography (or at least appreciation of the gardens) - this will not be a fast-paced event. Be prepared to relax, be easy-going, and enjoy! :)
