Itinerary:

Are you ready for an adventure? Are you ready to break out of the routine! Come and explore Phillip Edward Island, Collins Inlet, The Foxes and many other islands (just south of Killarney Park) on Georgian Bay.

It is a paddler's paradice. The remoteness of the area has kept it largely undeveloped. On many of the islands, you may pull your boat ashore and climb the barren rounded hilltops to admire the view - always a dazzling panorama that includes either the broad expanse of Georgian Bay or the sparking hills of Killarney's La Cloche range, and often both.

We will depart from Downsview on Tuesday morning at 8AM and will be driving up to the park. We will pick up our kayak's at Killarney Outfitters (in Killarney). Be prepared for a 6 day trip exploring the partially sheltered waters of Georgian bay. We will be covering ~70 km in total. About ~15 km a day at a casual steady pace. Be prepared for about 5 hours of paddling per day. We will be camping on Crown land. The planned route will be to circle Phillip Edward Island in a counter clockwise direction.

This trip is open to intermediate and advance experience canoeing/kayaking individuals only. If you only have limited kayaking experience but have good canoeing skills this trip is for you.

1.Please provide a brief summary of your canoeing/kayaking/interior camping experience to be accepted on this trip.
