Itinerary:

Celebrate Canada day the way it should be - deep in the Canadian wilderness! 4 days of canoeing and camping in Killarney Provincial Park, North of Algonquin, deep in the Canadian Shield. You might even see a Moose or two!

Leaving Thursday night, the plan is to spend 2 nights on David Lake, 1 night on Bell/Balsam Lake; and then climb to Silver Peak on Saturday, July 1st.

Details: there will be approximately 1 km combined portaging into and out of park - which is hardly any, if you've ever gone tripping before! The cost will be approx $135 per person, which will include the full outfitting (canoe, life preservers, cost of park pass) and food. You will need to give a $20 deposit to ensure your spot, and the remainder will be paid at the end of the trip. As far as your canoeing ability - at the very least you should be a strong swimmer, or at least very comfortable around water, and be at a level of fitness to paddle for a few hours.

Note: Stephanie will not be going on this trip and is co-coordinating only to assist John. Any questions about the trip should be addressed to John
