Itinerary:

We all know swimming is one of the best ways to get fit and stay fit. It's low impact, great for your joints and a fantastic supplement to any training program. Plus - it's really inexpensive - community pools cost under $3 a visit and most pools provide training gear, accessible by TTC or have parking facilities close by. But, it's hard to get motivated to go, especially in winter!

I'm going to post at least one swimming session a month for those of you that need that extra excuse to get into the pool. Keep in mind that this is lane swimming not recreational swim and the pool is only open for ages 13 & up. There is a slow, medium and fast lane, but you should be able to swim one length without stopping

This is not a lesson and I will not be giving out stroke critiques, although those who have swum with me before will know that I do sometimes give impromptu lessons and stroke pointers (if i complete my laps). I will be bringing workouts for 1200m to 1500m swimmers (approx 42-45 laps) so if you are currently swimming that distance you are welcome to share my notes.
