Itinerary:

This section of the Bruce follows the Niagara escarpment from just west of Highway 6 around to the north-east, to Mount Nemo, a distance of around 22km.

The hike shouldn't be too technically challenging, but we'll keep it moving at an steady pace of around 4km an hour. There are some areas of rough footing, so good footwear is a must. If we are lucky and have good weather, we should have really good views over Burlington and across to the south shore of Lake Ontario and beyond.

This will be a one-way hike involving car shuttles between start and end, so you'll need to bring something warm to wear while waiting for the drivers to retrieve the cars at the end of the day. After the hike, we'll remove ourselves to The Tied House Pub in Oakville for a bite to eat and a beer.

This event is for intermediate to experienced hikers who like to step the pace up a bit. Please don't sign up if you are a beginner. Previous TOC experience at this difficulty level is a pre-requisite.
