Itinerary:

So many people have told me about this event - it's a TOC MUST! For those that don't know what it's all about - basically you rent a tube and take a wild ride down the white water of the Grand River as it shoots through the Elora Gorge! Scary, exhilerating, stupid, thrilling - I'm sure all those adjectives exist, and more! Here is the website with all the information, but in a nutshell, the Grand River Conservation Authority rents out the tubes, helmets and PFDs, and sends you on your way. It's a unique and thrilling way to experience the Elora Gorge as you shoot approximately 2KM of rapids. We'll spend the rest of the day enjoying the other activities that Grand River has to offer, or we'll go do it again!

This activity is not without serious risks. If you cannot swim, or are a weak swimmer, this activity is NOT recommended There are NO lifeguards. Children must be over 42 inches in height and accompanied by an adult. It is possible to be separated from your tube, and there are rocks under the surface. Read the website for more safety precautions.
