Itinerary:
We will leave Toronto Friday afternoon and stay Friday night at Voyageur outfitter at Algonquin Park access point 1. Saturday morning, we will enjoy a breakfast prepared by the Outfitter, then load up our canoes and head off.

The route takes us along a river and across several short portages (135m and 255m) brings us into the park and onto North Tea Lake. We will paddle to the far end of this fairly large lake where we will spend Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday, we will explore another lake which was the site of a tornado. Monday we will paddle back to the outfitter and drive home

The Lakes in this area are quite large and fairly shallow, resulting in challenging paddling when there is wind. All participants must have paddling experience

.

All participants will be required to wear a Personal Flotation Device when in the canoe on the water.

There will be a mandatory pre-meeting for this trip.
