Itinerary:

Way back before in the TOC's infancy we had a challenge - to visit a restaurant for every letter of the alphabet. And so the "Alphabet Challenge" was born. We went to Allen's on the Danforth, Big Daddy's Crab Shack, C'est What, Dhaba, East! and Fionn MacCool's. Then it was summer and it was hard to get people interested in dinners, so the challenge went dormant for a few months. But I'll give it another try, it's a great way to meet other members and try out the club and eat some great food as well.

We are currently at G, and while many of us have had our fill at the Goose & Firkin (the TOC's clubhouse and sponsor), I think we can do better than that.

Anyone who has lived or worked in the Yonge & Eglinton area knows that while some restaurants come and go quickly, there are few places that have remained unchanged over many years - for example, The Unicorn, the Rose & Crown and Grazie. (Well, there's Grano as well but it's more of a Davisville location...) The weather will be cool and the food will be some comforting pasta, with a nice wine etc, etc. Sign up early so we can make reservations.
