Itinerary:
Last year, Dream in High Park put on a fresh, funky, and FUN interpretation of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was so popular that they had to turn people away in the last week it was offered, and by popular demand, the same play is presented this summer! I saw this production last summer with the TOC and I'm looking forward to enjoying it again. :)

Dream in High Park is a pay what you can production. Suggested minimum donation $20. Children 14 and under free thanks to TD!

We will meet OUTSIDE the High Park Subway Station at 6:15 and walk together to the stage location. WE WILL BE ARRIVING EARLY TO GET GOOD SEATS. Bring snacks, drinks, bug spray, etc. to keep you entertained/non-tormented until the play begins.

If you can't meet us at the subway station, you can try to meet us at the park. However, a couple of points:

1) The demand will be high for seats, particularly on the beginning of a long weekend. Please don't expect the event coordinator or any other participant to save you a place because you are running late.

2) Please bring my cell phone number (416-669-2281) and CALL ME if you cannot find me or the group.

Not to sound preemptively grumpy, but this event is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy a wonderful Toronto cultural event. No participant who is on time should be expected to stand up with a sign or fight off non-TOCers who are looking for a place to sit. Please do your part to ensure that we can all enjoy this experience.

One other note: lawnchairs are only allowed in designated areas. We will likely be sitting in the centre where they are not allowed. Please bring blankets and pillows instead.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Donation for Play (~$20)
