Thanksgiving Day Old Mill Salmon Run - about 10 km (10/12/2026)

Itinerary:

Walk off Thanksgiving dinner with an easy hike to see the salmon run (if they are jumping).

This Thanksgiving Monday hike is about 10 km on a mix of paved trails, uneven dirt trails and sidewalks.

We will walk at a moderate pace along the Humber River to James Gardens and back.

There will be a bathroom break and snack break in James Gardens.

The hike will start and end at Old Mill. Station.

Required Items to Bring:

Good footwear for walking

1-2 litres of water and snack

$20 for your 2026 TOC membership badge.  Purchasing a badge allows you unlimited events until the end of the year.

Old Mill Station is on the Bloor/Danforth line.

If you are driving, there is free parking lot under Old Mill Station off Old Mill Road and a Green P lot opposite The Old Mill.
