So, the random hike picker has selected this new urban hike location for this evening.

This 9 KM hike will both start and finish at Tobermory Station.

The hike will be on a combination of single track dirt trails, multi use trails, grassy fields and sidewalks.

In terms of hills, there should be 2 climbs of 25 meters.

Sadly, this time of year, there won't be any washrooms open on the hike.
However, the library should have a washroom.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

For this hike, we'll meet at York Woods Public Library Branch, which is located beside Tobermory Station.
Tobermory Station is located on line 6 (Finch West), 2 stations west of Finch West Station & 2 stations east of Jane & Finch Station.

Walk over to the pedestrian traffic light and cross to the south side of Finch.
After crossing Finch, turn left (EAST) and head over to the main entrance for York Woods.
I'll just be outside the main entrance
However, if it is cold or wet, then I'll just be inside the library entrance.

For those of you driving, York Wood Library is located at 1761 Finch Ave West, about halfway between Jane & Keele.
In terms of parking, I suggest parking at Derrydowns Park located at 1715 Finch Ave West.
Please note, you can only enter the parking lot when travelling eastbound along Finch.
