Itinerary:

So, welcome to my fall lookout series for 2026.
In this series we'll be hiking to various locations that are known for their spectacular views in the fall.
No guarantees that it will be perfect, but I hope by doing a hike every week in October, we'll get some great views.

This 15 KM hike will both start and finish at Eglinton GO Station.

Plan for today.

  • Hike down to Doris Mcarthy Trail and take in the sights.
  • Stop for 30 minutes in Guild Park to let everyone explore and use the washroom (should they need to).
  • Head over to the gorgeous view of Lake Ontario in Sylvan Park
  • Head back to Eglinton GO Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths, grassy fields, gravel trails and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be 2 climbs of about 50 meters.

During our break in Guild Park at about 7.5 KM, you should be able to use the washroom.
