Itinerary:

Ontario is beautiful. There are many cool trails and things to see outside of Toronto.
My aim is to hit different interesting hiking trails throughout the GTA and beyond which can be accessed by public transit.

Today's hike will take us around Little Lake & up and down the Otonabee River in Peterbrough.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water.
We'll do lunch about 1 KM into the hike.

If you cannot walk the entire distance please do not sign up for this hike.

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

    For this hike, we'll be meeting at the Peterbrough Bus Terminal in downtown Peterbrough.
    We'll just meet beside the sign that says "Downtown Transit Terminal"

    For those of you taking transit, you can take the 8:50 Lakeshore East Train to Durham College Oshawa GO Station.
    Then switch to the 88 GO bus to get to Peterbrough Bus Terminal.

    For those of you driving, the address for the Peterbrough Bus Terminal is 191 Simcoe Street.
    There is a parking garage connected to the bus terminal.
