Hike to the Toronto Botanical Garden (7.5 KM) (5/30/2026)

So, with the opening of the Eglinton Crosstown, it allows easier access to Toronto Botanical Garden.
Its the season to check out Daffodils, Tulips, Viburnum, Bleeding hearts and fern leaf peonies

This 7.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Sunnybrook Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, single track dirt trails and some sidewalks.

In terms of hills, there should be 2 climbs of about 25 meters.

We'll stop for an hour a the Royal Botanical Gardens to allow you to take in the sights as well as use their washroom facilities.

Suunnybrook Station is located on Line 5 Eglinton Crosstown.

Sunnybrook Station is located at the corner of Eglinton & Leslie.
I'll either be standing on the eastbound or westbound platform, depending on the weather conditions.

For those of you driving, I suggest parking at the Parking Lot #2 Wilket Creek Park.
Entrance to the park is at 1132 Leslie Steet
After entering, turn left at the flagpole; their should be signs for parking lot # 2.
Once parked, the meet point is just at the top of the stairs.
