Itinerary:
Someone recently told me on a TOC event that the only good thing about Scarborough was the bluffs... So I thought Canada Day would be the perfect day to explore them. The hike will start from Colonial Danforth park, along Highland Creek and down to the Bluffs and beaches. At the half way end point, we will just hit the starting point of East Point Park and then make our way back. The trip will not include the core part of East Point Park and the water filtration plant

It's an easy hike we'll do at a moderate pace with few rest stops - we'll stop for picture taking, lunch etc so you should be able to hike for 2+ hrs without stopping. It's rated a beginner hike, but whatever goes down must come back up, and there is no easy way down to the Bluffs, so if you have knee or hip issues you might want to pass. It's a lengthy hike with a spectacular view of the river, wild bushes, butterflies, bluffs, beaches and the lake.

Meet up at Colonial Danforth Park, see meeting point on map link below.
