Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 9 KM hike will both start and finish at Bessarion Subway Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track trails, paved park trails and grassy fields.

In terms of hills, there should be one for about 25 meters and a long staircase for just under 50 meters.

WARNING: The first ravine along this hike is fairly sketchy and eroding.
Should the weather not be appropriate, then I will go around this section and then this hike will be 10 KM instead.

    Event Directions:

Bessarion Station is located on Line 4 (SHEPPARD), two stops east of Yonge-Sheppard and two stops west on Don Mills.

If driving, the station is located on Sheppard between Leslie & Bayview at 731 Sheppard Avenue East.

In terms of parking or washrooms, you should be able to park at the Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Community Recreation Centre

So, we'll meet at the Sheppard Avenue East South Side exit from the station, which is across the street from the Shell Station.

Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt, probably standing inside the station.
