Night Hike: Bayview Village, Finch Hydro Corridor, Bellbury Park & Villaways Park (12.5 KM) (10/22/2025)

Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 12.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Bessarion Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park trails, gravel trails and single track dirt trails with some grassy bits.

In terms of hills, there should be 4 climbs of 25 meters and one climb of 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at the Bayview Arena, located about 5 KM into the hike.

    Event Directions:

    We'll meet at the south side entrance of Bessarion station beside the Ethennonnhawahstihnen Community Centre.

    For those of you driving, Bessarion Station is located at 731 Sheppard Avenue East, about midway between Leslie & Bayview.

    In terms of parking, there's a Canadian Tire with a large lot, just east of Bessarion Station.
