West End Hike to see Halloween decorations • 11km (10/26/2022)

Itinerary:

By signing up for this event, you agree to, and ledge, the following:

  1. If you are vaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you have read and will follow the federal laws as per Government of Canada - Travel to Canada: Requirements for COVID- 19 vaccinated travellers Web site
  2. If you are unvaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you are compelled by law to be in quarantine and cannot lawfully attend this event, as per the Federal Government’s website
  3. You will take and pass the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-line questionnaire. within 48 hours of the start of the event.


This hike will be through a west end neighbourhood that is actually closed off for tricker treaters, so people go all out decorating their front lawns. We will also go through High Park and have a washroom break. Then it is back onto the streets to see what decorations we can see. Near the end of the hike we will be visiting a house so spectacular that they ask for a voluntary food bank donation to visit. So load up your back pack - or bring some cash. This is voluntary. The hike ends at Keele Station.

This hike has a few hills to climb and 2 washroom breaks. We will be walking at a moderate pace for 11km or 2.5 hours.

Event Directions:

Dundas West station is on the Bloor/Danforth line.
There is a parking lot located behind Dundas West Station, off Edna Ave OR park at Keele station (end of the hike), enter via Indian Road. Then walk to Dundas West station.

Please arrive on time as this event will start promptly at 7pm.
