By signing up for this event, you agree to, and acknowledge, the following:

  2. If you are unvaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you are compelled by law to be in quarantine and cannot lawfully attend this event, as per the Federal Government’s website
  3. You will take and pass the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-line questionnaire. within 48 hours of the start of the event.

PACE: about 4.5 km/h

DIFFICULTY: D3.5 There might be some logs, rocks, fallen trees, and piles of mud to climb over on the beach


ABOUT THIS HIKE
We will make our way to the beach through neighborhoods, and pass by the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant
After going down a short steep slope...
We will walk 1.5k east on the beach, then turn around and head back
Our 3 km on the beach will include walking on sand, and maybe some rocks, mudslides, and over fallen trees
Be prepared for the possibility that your feet might get wet, sandy and muddy!

This hike will go forth snow, rain or shine, but not freezing rain, because that just sucks.

Please arrive before the start time, we will start PROMPTLY at the start time.
