Write Up:

Well, we couldn't have had a better day for a round of golf. The sun shone with the temperature in the low to mid 20's, very little wind to speak of, and great company.

We started with a few pointers on the Cardinal Golf driving range, and then took off back down Hwy 9 to Kettle Creek. Everyone got sorted out quickly with in the pro-shop and then we headed over to the first tee. Once we got spaced out on the course, we had a steady, well-paced round, keeping up with the groups in front, and never feeling rushed or pushed from behind.

Considering that five of the eight considered themselves beginners, and a couple hadn't played in years, we had some extremely respectable scores. Also, as Emily pointed out, even if you don't play well, you can still look good - this from a woman with coordinating shoes and and hat! And Jennifer was definitely the most stylish with matching bag, clubs, and headcovers - we all wanted to know why she didn't have the shirt and hat also :D

A well deserved beer after the round and a rehash of the golf - good and bad - ended a very pleasant afternoon, with resounding positive comments and a request for more of the same in the future...
