Write Up:
- We started off and headed over to the Mono Tract which is part of
The Dufferin County Forest which is a 1,050 hectare (2,596 acre) area
divided into twelve tracts located throughout the County. The Forest
is owned and managed by the County of Dufferin.
- We spent the first 10 minutes in the Tract getting lost and then
the next 40 enjoyable minutes winding and finding our way back to Mono
Cliffs
- We had a short lunch break at the lookout on the Lookout Side
Trail.
- We hiked for about 2 more hours then had another short lunch break
on the west leg of the South Outlier Loop at the top of the cliff.
Someone cautioned anyone eating anything spherical that if it dropped
to the ground it would roll right off the cliff. Apple eaters took
note.
