Write Up:
We started out a little confounded by a mix up with the pool schedule, but everyone got some time in the pool and comments were very positive. Breathing under water under 2 atmospheres of pressure can be an intimidating thing. Something about being human makes us psychologically uncomfortable with the concept. Once you realise you're not going to drown it's great fun being under the surface throwing little torpedoes at each other (playing "3D catch" as it were), and swimming around like little fisheses (Gollum, Gollum). Due to the mix up in the schedule the owner of the club said he'll swing us a special deal on our next event. No pictures were taken during the event as we figure some people are a bit bashful being captured on film in their trunks/binkinis (sorry, no bathing suit competition) or afterwards (see bad wet-hair day), but I can tell you that there were plenty of smiles and great conversation. After we all dried off and dressed we went to a local watering hole for a drink and a nibble. It was a really good time, can't wait for the next one!
