Write Up:
A hilly challenging fast paced hike!

Not long after we started we came across a VERY muddy 1 km section. The heavy mud stuck to our shoes adding kgs to each step. After the mud we walked thru an area loaded with fallen pine needles which stuck to the mud on our shoes making them comically look like small snowshoes.

Just after 1/2 way we had lunch on the site of an old farmhouse (I think). All that was left was a concrete floor and a fireplace and chimney.
