Write Up:

This was a memorable trip. It rained a good part of Saturday, and at times the rain was so intense that it felt like walking in a tropical jungle! Ironically, there was a fire ban in effect due to abnormally dry conditions that had prevailed all summer in the park. So, no fire for drying anything. Fortunately, the air was rather warm, our cloths were fast drying, and in a couple of hours after reaching camp, we had a pleasant evening preparing dinner in a small portable stove, and exchanging stories in the dark.

During the second day, on the way back to the parking lot, a couple of us had the chance to spot a bear nearby the trail.... This is a rare occurrence, and it was a fortunate one, as the bear seemed happy by keeping some distance and just observing those rare creatures that oddily enough, only use two legs for walking!
