Another great weekend back country canoe trip organized by the TOC into Massassauga, the weather was perfect and only surpassed by the great comradeship we all created. One of the portages was a little challenging as we had to deal with the lower water levels and the effects of the Beaver dams, well to be honest it was indicated on the sign on the other side that it was rough.... Kevin knows his stuff and is a great leader, he even found us a well deserved Oasis when we needed it most! Talk about motivational timing... Gladly the bugs knew they only had 1 hr daily to make the most of it, so we quickly learned their time table and adjusted accordingly so were not a problem. Nothing like looking up into a clear night into the stars without any light pollution to get a real feeling of the expanse of the universe.
