Congrats to Jane on her 200 events and welcome Anna and Hero on their 1st TOC hike! I am sure Anna learnt many tips and tricks just from this one hike and Hero should have enough exercise for the day!

It was a scenic hike. The weather held up perfectly well – we even had some sun today. Some snow on the ground but there was no wind. On this hike, we visited Tiffany Falls, Sherman Fall and Canterbury Falls. We saw a kettle of turkey vultures circling up in the air and spotted some deers in the wood. When we stopped by for some hot drinks and lunch at the Trail Centre, amazingly we saw a pack of deers running through in front of our eyes.

It was a wonderful hike. Thank you Jane, my navigator who knew exactly how many kilometres left to the spot we were heading and where and when to turn…and to Vicky who brought us to the bakery after hike where we all ended up having some chips and dips, cider and pie, and not to forget to mention her favourite buttertart. Finally but not least, thank you all for coming out!
