A quick prelim meeting to discuss how to get things organized! Some of the discussion topics:
- Hanna and Jason will use their contacts to find more valid participants
- Ping & Christine will help with some fundraising ideas, as well as help to organize our picnic, learn to canoe day on June 3rd
- Jenn P is going to work with Dom to book sites
- Rob is going to see about having Ontario parks waive fees
- Liz presented her wonderful logo work by wearing the appropriate colours. We'll be creating a website soon and we talked about creating a few more creatures for it :)
- Kirk offered to help teach people to canoe
- Jenn M. showed up
There was a lot of prelim ideas thrown around and more suggestions that I didn't get a chance to write down. For those of you that wanted to be here, there's still lots of things I could use help on - especially fundraising and sponsorships!! If there is anyone out there that can help, I'd greatly appreciate it!
