A wet, hot, partially buggy, but great hike! ☺

17 people showed up in spite of the forecast for severe thunder storms, which did not materialize.

We did not hike the route originally intended because that would have taken us along the Finch hydro corridor for about 6 of the 17 km. I didn't think it was a good idea in case the severe thunder storms did materialize quickly. 1 minute after we started, it poured heavily for about 10 minutes, soaking us. Over the next 4-5 hours we mostly dried out.

We ended up walking south to Earl Bales park for a loop. After 15 km a bunch of hikers had enough. 5 of us continued on for another 6km.

Donations collected: $10.00
