There were six people on today's event. The beautiful weather continues on this Thanksgiving weekend, 21C and sunny. It does not feel like fall today.

It was a short hike today, only 6k. Some of the leaves on trees & shrubs are changing but many have not started yet. We stopped at The Riverdale Farm and most of the animals were outside. Some of the animals will birth at Christmas time and that is always fun. We also visited Allan Gardens. A Chrysanthemum Show started today and goes to mid November. It was very colourful.

The 100th anniversary tour of the Elgin / Winter Garden theatres was very interesting. The Winter Garden theatre is on top of the Elgin theatre. Until 1981, when the Heritage Society bought & restored the building, the Winter Garden had not been used for sixty years. Both theatres are used now.

$12.00 was collected in Voluntary Donations.
