It was a dark and stormy morning, but our intrepid group set out despite the conditions. It was a day most people wouldn't hike in, so we enjoyed the uncrowded trails and sites which we had to ourselves for the most part. We came across a couple of Korean hiking groups (including 2 gentlemen that had lost their group).
The weather improved slowly as we hiked, and towards the end some of us partook of a few apples from various trees we encountered on the way back to the trail-head. The credit river was swollen due to the rain and was flowing furiously over the lower rapids and cataract falls. Despite most of us having some gear for the rain most of us were pretty soaked by the time it was over and looked forward to a hot bath, beverage or both.
