There were four people on today's event. It showered the entire hike, which made lunch that much more welcomed.
We've had more rain this summer than last year. The Don River was flowing much faster than typical for this time of the year. Last year in September the grass was dry and brown in many parks. Now, it is lush and feels like spring, not the end of summer.
On Queen St we noticed lots of people cheering on other people. it turned out to be a "Walk to End Women's Cancer". There were over 5,000 participants walking all over the Beach area.
As we hiked through Kew Gardens, the Celtic Festival was almost rained out but the music continued.
Lunch at the Trinity Modern Greek Taverna was excellent and definitely warrants a return trip.
$3.00 was collected in voluntary donations.
