Write Up:

We had 14 people on our hike today. The temperature was 26C, 29 with humidity, so we kept an even 4.4 kph pace. Once we got through High Park and arrived at the lake, there was a nice breeze. We kept to the shade as much as possible and that helped, too.

There were a lot of people enjoying the waterfront both in the parks and on the water. There were a few water birds, a cormorant, a few mallard ducks and one female Gadwall duck with two new babies.

$10.85 was collected in voluntary donations.
