We walked 10k in 2.5 hours, including several stops. The sun was strong but about half of the route was shaded.

When the City of Toronto demolished the eastern end of the Gardner Expressway they left the support structures standing, looking somewhat artistic. At the base of the structures they have attached historic photos. Some of the photos are from the early 1900s, and some are of the demolition of the Expressway.

At Ashbridges Bay we explored quiet, secluded spots; some were shady with a nice view of, and breeze from, the lake.

We finished at noon. It was such a beautiful day that some stayed at the Beach to enjoy more of it, and some visited the Asia Street Festival.

$8.00 was collected in donations to help support the club website.
