Another big turnout for the last DJ event of the year. Not as busy as last month, but the weather held to give us a cold and clear evening. I got to show off my new skates and we managed to find just about everyone this time around! Perkin demonstrated that with enough guts and determination, even an american from San Francisco can skate if they try hard enough! Iain (that's with an "i") skated circles around all of us adults. We had our regular skating group out - Julian, Hong, Patricia, Grant and Sivanny made it to at least three of the 4 events - and Jason and Alan showed up, plus a couple of new faces such as Kirin and Sarah. Sarah was disappointed that my cat ears on my hat were not as noticeable as I made them out to be in my emails, but nonetheless, she still managed to find us.
As usual, a great many of us stayed to enjoy a post skate drink in the bar and a small group stayed behind to wait for the zamboni to do more skating. Definately will be skating more next year!
