Sun, Nov 1 2009 - Rail Trail Bike Ride: Cambridge to Brantford and Back (70 km) (View Original Event Details)

Event Coordinator(s): Jim O
Participants:Marianne R., Julian L, Jim O

Write Up:
Julian, Marianne and I had a spendid ride from Cambridge to Brantford and back. Upon our arrival in Brantford, we stopped for lunch at Moose Winoosky's Pub. There are a few steep hills on the way into Brantford, after one temporarily leaves the gravel rail-trail, but we all managed quite nicely. Julian saw a deer cross the path in front of him on his way to Brantford, and I saw two deer cross the path in front of me on the way back. With the leaves having fallen off the trees, one could see the Grand River from the trail for most of the ride.
